We love our Nigerians and are dedicated to placing them in quality homes. We work hard in providing each goat with the best care and attention we know how to give and expect the same from our buyers. When you purchase an animal from us, you will receive a healthy, quality Nigerian. Even after you get your Nigerian home, we will still be available to offer assistance or answer questions you may have and would love to hear of their progress.
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to reserve the kid of your choice. When the kid is born another $100.00 is required with the balance being due at 12 weeks when your kid will be weaned and ready for pickup or delivery. We reserve the right to release your reservation if payment is not received within 14 days of the notification of birth. If the kid is not available for any reason, your deposit can be changed to any open or available breeding or cheerfully refunded in total for the deposit amount. However, we are unable to refund deposits on cancelled orders. Adult animals or animals over 10 weeks of age must be picked up or shipped within 14 days of purchase. Unless prior arrangements have been made, all animals must be picked up within 14 days of weaning. Goats that stay beyond that time will incur a boarding fee of $2.00 a day up to 30 calendar days. Animals not picked after the 30 day mark will be considered abandoned and become property of Edgefield, no refunds will be made.
All prices are for animals picked up in person. Shipping, and any related costs, are the buyer's responsibility and are to be paid in advance. We ship for the Anchorage International Airport. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: vet examinations, health certificate, 200 size shipping crate, airfare, blood work (if required) or additional vaccinations not originally provided by Edgefield. If you decide you want to make a purchase of 2 goats and want them shipped let us know so we can plan ahead. If they are small enough they may be able to share a crate which makes travel easier on everyone.
Before putting a deposit down on a kidding/ animal, please contact us for verification of availability. You may pay by cash (preferred), check (your animal cannot be picked up until you check has cleared your account. If the check comes back for any reason, you will incur any fees associated with that transaction and may lose your place in line for that particular goat.), or credit card via PayPal. If using PayPal, a 3% fee will be incurred by you as the purchaser and will be included in the PayPal invoice sent to you. If this is the option you choose, please do not send payment without an invoice or discussed transaction amount.
